We made a short but very interesting trip to France and Chamonix.  Main purpose of the trip was work, but we were lucky enough to have a bit of free time, too. We took the train to Montenvers from Chamonix, elevation at terminus is around 1900m, and ascent during the vouayge about 900m.

The weather was absolutely marvellous, so I took a few photographs. This one is a panorama made from 5 frames which led to an image size of 10500px on the long edge,

En yleensä kuvaa junia, mutta kun kuvaan teen sen Chamonix’ssa. Pyörähdettiin pikakeikka Ranskassa, pääasiassa työnmerkeissä, mutta jäi vähän vapaa-aikaakin. Kun kerran sää suosi, ajeltiin junalla noin 1900 mertin korkeuteen, nousu rataosuudella n 900m. Nappasin pari ruutua, tässä ylhäällä 5 ruudun panoramaa, jonka originaali koko on 10500 ox pitkälle sivulle.
